What HR admins and employers can see in Boon coaching
In a Boon coaching program, HR admins and employers see aggregated, de-identified data, such as participation, coaching themes, and outcome trends. They do not see what is said in coaching sessions, coach notes, or individual survey responses. Boon does not record or transcribe coaching sessions.
What do employers see in Boon reporting?
Employers receive aggregated, de-identified data, including:
- Participation and engagement, such as session completion rates.
- Coaching themes in aggregate, and engagement trends over time.
- Wellbeing scores before and after, on Scale.
- Competency trends and program-level outcomes. Grow results are reported at cohort level.
- Program ROI and budget pacing.
- Coach utilization and scheduling statistics.
What stays private?
- Session content. Boon does not record or transcribe coaching sessions and does not store session recordings.
- Coach notes. They are visible to the coach and Boon's operations team only, never to the employer.
- Individual survey responses, unless the participant explicitly opts in to share them.
- Practice Space conversations, which are visible only to the employee.
As the privacy policy explains, information may be disclosed where required by law.
What does the sponsor of an Exec engagement see?
Exec is the exception to aggregate-only reporting. The leader's sponsor receives progress summaries at midpoint and close showing focus areas and engagement quality. The summaries never include session content.
Is a participant's manager involved in Grow?
Yes. Grow includes three touchpoints with each participant's manager: kickoff, midpoint, and close. Grow results are reported to the organization at cohort level.
Does the Microsoft Teams app share data with the employer?
Only aggregate program metrics. The Boon app for Microsoft Teams does not share anything with the employer beyond aggregate program metrics. See Teams support for setup details.
